Seahawks lose a tight one in Ilderton
The Pee Wee Grey's traveled to Ilderton to face the blue team and lost in a very close game.
The Seahawks lead the entire game due to some excellent pitching by Tristan R and Tanner M along with defensive plays to take a 9-5 lead into the final inning. For their last at bat, Ilderton came out very strong to score 5 runs and walk away with the win!!!
Our improved hitting continues to be our new strength as we had some excellent hits lead by Tyson C, Nate E, Justin P and Dirk W with an awesome bunt laid by Kyle P. Along with great baserunning from Tyler A, Curtis R and Josh H, who learnt a valuable lesson about stealing bases, we kept the strong Ilderton team at bay until the last inning.
The Seahawks are improving greatly at the right time of the year and we can't wait for our year end tournament on Aug 25th &26th weekend!!
