On Thursday June 6, Goderich Grey Seahawks played hosts to Mitchell 2. Thanks to a strong first inning in which they scored the maximum seven runs, they held on for a 10-7 win.
Leading the way on offense was Michael with three singles, a double, 3 rbi and a run scored, Eric M with a single, double, triple, two rbi and two runs, Daerien with two singles, two runs and an rbi, Jamie with three singles and an rbi, Eric V with three singles and a run, Graham with two singles, an rbi and a run. John and Zach each had a single with an rbi and a run, while Owen added a single with a run scored. Again there were a few great plays defensively by
Goderich that kept the Mitchell team from taking the lead. The Seahawks played another great game full of teamwork.
