On Thursday June 13, Goderich Grey Seahawks played hosts to Exeter. Exeter had a very potent offense that was too much for Goderich to overcome even with a late game rally. In the end Exeter was able to come away with a 26-13 win.
Leading the way on offense was Kaelan with four hits, three runs and an rbi, Kieran with three doubles, two runs and an rbi, Eric V with three hits, two runs and and rbi, Daerien with three hits, three rbi and a run, Zach with four hits and two rbi. John and Graham each had two hits, two runs and an rbi, Jamie had two hits with two rbi, Owen had a hit with an rbi and Millar had a hit with a run scored. Despite the final score, the Seahawks have positives to look at going away from this game, our thirteen runs scored is the second highest of our young season and once again there were a few great plays defensively by Goderich to keep the home crowd entertained. Great game by our Seahawks, just a tough loss in the end.
