Seahawks Season takes Flight
The Seahawks season has taken flight with two road games this past week.

On May 27 the team traveled to Listowel to play a very good Listowel team.  The boys competed hard in a 10-9 loss.  The pitching and base running was superb on this night in a close match.  For many of the kids it was their first taste of Peewee ball so there was some adapting to the longer bases, pitching and lead-offs.

On May 29 the Seahawks made the trek down Highway #8 to play Mitchell.  This was an entertaining game with lots of big hits and aggressive base running.  A shout out goes to Jacob Abbott who hit a long home run to deep right center field.  All players contributed offensively in this game. The teams traded runs and the game ended in a 15-15 tie.

The coaching staff is very proud of how the team has meshed over the first two games. The positive encouragement that the boys are providing each other is great to see.  The first two games have been a total team effort with all players providing positive contributions. Keep up the great work fellas and the wins will come.
