L'il Deckhand Seahawks Face Extreme Test In Exeter
The U12 Squirt Fastball Team travel to Exeter on the June 12 - 14 weekend where they will face the home Exeter Extreme on Friday night at 6:30pm.
The locals have been working hard through all of the recent rain to prepare themselves for their second tournament in three weeks. A soggy Mitchell Fastballfest was cancelled halfway through the weekend at the end of May due to uncooperative weather.
Their second game in Pool A competition will see them matched up against a team from Wyoming on Saturday at 12:30pm with the remainder of their weekend schedule dependant upon their results from the first two games.
Meanwhile, in Huron Perth League play, the Seahawks sit tied for first with a 2-0 record after a thrilling 10-9 last inning rally to beat Fullarton on June 1st.
