The 2018 Culbert Surveying U14 Peewee Girls Fastball Team has an opportunity to be pretty good. Just how good will depend upon them. With a lot of returning players, this fastball team have an opportunity to really upset the balance of power in the Huron Perth Fastball League this season.
After a very convincing opening road win of 24-2 in Mitchell, the Seahawks edged a second Hornets team on consecutive weeks scoring four runs in extra innings to secure an 11-7 win. As was the case in the first game, the Goderich defence was very good. Jamie A. was outstanding in this game as she totally dominated on offence.
In the final inning, Janelle D made an incredible catch that had people talking for a long time.
