GDCI Diamond Now Called "John O'Keefe Field"
Submitted By Steve Hewitt on Friday, July 27, 2018
GDCI Diamond will now be proudly known as "John O'Keefe Field" named after John who as a tireless volunteer in our Community, especially for GMBA. The Dedication took place on July 19th with Shelly, Mack and Kailey throwing out the first pitch in front of a large crowd with words said regarding John's high level of Volunteerism.

This Spring, AMDSB, GMBA and the John O'Keefe Foundation pooled funds to make the field improvements to the GDCI Diamond where the field was crowned for better drainage, new base pegs, new clay surface along with a larger infield to allow for Pee Wee Ball. These improvements have made a significant Change to the Diamond.
