This was the first time this year these girls came together for a tournament.

Later that day they faced off with Kincardine. Again the girls started strong with some quick base running from Meleah Cudmore and Beth Hamilton, with great hits and timly walks and good pitching the Seahawks came away with a 15-8 victory.
Sunday brought a quarter final game against Sweaburg.  This game was unbelievably tight with Sweaburg scoring the opening run in the 3rd.  Sweaburg put up a second run in the 5th with the Seahawks rallying in the bottom of the inning with a run.  The Seahawks tied the game up in the bottom of the 6th. This game went back and forth with 3 up 3 down innings after that until the 10th when Sweaburg put a run on the board.  With speed on the bases for the bottom of the 10th Teagan Regier had a timly base hit to score 2 and win the game
4-3
The semis found the Seahawks facing Tara PW
It was a tight game all the way through again. With the Seahawks plating 2 runs in the top of the 7th to take the lead and Georgia Gusso shutting the door sealing the 4-3 victory. With Palmerston waiting in the finals the girls rallied up for one more battle.
The girls started very well against Palmerston keeping it close through 3 innings with Georgia and Arlen pitching very well.  The girls came up short with a 10-2 loss to the Marlins.
The girls fought hard all weekend long and all the girls played a big part in all the wins.  Congratulations Seahawks.WhatsApp_Image_2024-06-17_at_4.44.27_PM.jpeg
