Consulation Division Champs
Another Goderich minor sports team has been able to do the traditional ride around the town on the fire truck.
After a great weekend of baseball in St Mary's for the WOBA playoffs. The Goderich Peewee black team pulled off 3 straight wins to go undefeated in the playoffs and earn the right to become the Consulation division champs. It was a great weekend for the boys starting with great pitching, timely hitting and the never give up attitude starting Friday night they won in there last at bat against Mitchell 11-10. On Saturday they played there rivals from North Middlesex and beat them 14-8 to set up a spot in the final. Where once again they faced North Middlesex but Goderich proved to be too strong with a great pitching performance and solid defence and strong hitting that out matched there opponents 10-0. The team has played great all year and topped it off by preforming when the had too. The Coaching staff and parents are very proud of these young men for the efforts they have shown this year.
